Hello! My name is Vanda, and I am passionate about helping students succeed in English. With a strong academic background and over 20 years of teaching experience, I specialise in supporting EAL learners and KS2 , KS3 students in their language journey. I first studied Literature in Greece, then pursued a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics at the University of Essex in England, followed by a Master’s in Education in Athens. Throughout my career, I have continuously developed my skills by attending courses in Special Educational Needs (SEN) and multicultural education. I have been teaching English as a second language for many years, both in Greece and the UK, in primary and secondary schools. Additionally, I have been teaching Greek to students of all ages for over two decades. My deep understanding of language learning, combined with my experience working with diverse learners, allows me to tailor my teaching methods to each student's unique needs. I believe that learning a language should be engaging, supportive, and adapted to every student's pace. My goal is to help learners gain confidence, improve their skills, and feel comfortable using English in their everyday lives.
