I have over 10 years classroom teaching experience. I have experience working in both KS1 and KS2, including with children with SEND. I have experience with children with a variety of educational needs and I am particularly passionate about supporting those children with dyslexia. Every child needs a cheerleader, a tutor who understands them and champions their achievements. I believe that all children are unique. I pride myself in getting to know the children, identifying their learning styles and requirements, and creating a warm, nurturing environment conducive to learning. I am proud of my ability to engage children with learning and aim to make my lessons active and encouraging.I adapt each of my tutoring sessions according to the needs of each student, slowly building their confidence through scaffolding, encouragement, challenges and ultimately fostering independence so they can be their best.
