I currently offer Maths tuition for all levels upto and including GCSE, Specialising in KS2, KS3 and Foundation GCSE. I can provide help with home learning and preparing for exams as well as general weekly sessions.Qualifications

Experience
I studied psychology for 3 years and Graduated in 2009 when I became a Maths coach in a Secondary School. I continued coaching / tutoring Maths in schools for 8 years along side teaching my own classes. After this I continued tutoring in the home environment. I have tutored and coached all levels of Maths up to and including GCSE both in school as a Maths specialist and privately for 13 years. My specialisms are KS2, KS3 and Foundation Maths. I also offer tuition for entry exams and functional skills. I love working with students to help them achieve their full potential and see them progress on to their next steps in life. I have worked with a range of students with additional needs and abilities and I am very passionate about making sure every session is tailored specifically to the individuals needs.More
I believe Maths is fun and education should be enjoyable and I aim to make all sessions reflect this for all students. All students should be able to access the subject no matter their ability and confidence and strive to make sure this is the case.Availability (UK time)

Emma is completely brilliant. Both my daughters have found learning in a school environment challenging, one due to autism and high levels of associated anxiety. Emma has worked so well with them both. With my eldest, anxious daughter she was really patient and followed her lead until she gradually broke down the barriers so that my daughter was happy to chat, turn her camera on and do everything that was expected! She has helped both my girls catch up in maths. They say she explains things well and is really positive in how she encourages them. Emma has always been really happy (& super speedy!) to answer any questions I have about their progress, set work and advise on next steps. She really boosted my eldest’s confidence (& not just with maths with her social communication and interaction skills too!) and is now working wonders with my youngest who has chosen the home education path for her gcses. She looks forward to working with Emma each week and is always animated and exited to share what she’s learnt after each session. Can’t thank Emma enough. Whole heartedly recommend her!
