Experience
I am a qualified teacher with experience in both primary and secondary education, including three years teaching at GCSE and Key Stage 4. Currently, I work as a Humanities Teacher in a specialist SEMH setting, where I plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons for pupils with varied social, emotional, and learning needs. My teaching experience covers History, Geography, Religious Education, Physical Education, and Mathematics to GCSE level, as well as History and Geography at A-level.Previously, I worked as an Academic Mentor, supplying targeted academic support and helping students build knowledge, confidence, and independent study skills. I have also served as a Year 1 Class Teacher and Sports Enrichment Officer, gaining valuable experience teaching, mentoring, and supporting young people throughout various age groups and educational settings.
