Experience

I am an experienced primary school teacher with over 16 years of classroom teaching, alongside more than 10 years of private tutoring experience across both primary and secondary phases.
Throughout my teaching career, I have taught across all primary year groups and have held a range of leadership positions, including Maths Lead and Phase Leader across all key stages. These roles have given me a strong understanding of curriculum progression, assessment, and effective intervention strategies. In addition, I have extensive experience mentoring Early Career Teachers, supporting their professional development and classroom practice.

Alongside my school-based career, I have privately tutored children from Year 1 through to Year 11 in all core subjects. I have successfully prepared pupils for SATs, delivered targeted booster sessions, supported secondary school students, and prepared children for the 11+ and private school entrance examinations. My tutoring approach is personalised, supportive, and focused on building confidence as well as academic progress.
