Experience
I am a lively, enthusiastic and highly experienced teacher who has been teaching A Level Sociology for over 25 years . Since 1997 I have held the position of Sociology Course Manager and Advanced Practitioner at two very successful colleges in the South West of England. To date, my A Level pass rates have remained outstanding. I have developed my professional career by submitting several articles, which have been successfully published in A Level Sociology journals, developing on-line teaching websites as well as lecturing and appearing at national A Level student/staff conferences and educational DVDs. I am extremely committed to student centred methods and has endeavoured to develop such learning materials. I strongly believe every student is an individual and may learn in individualised ways. Such a belief requires a "blended learning" approach to tutoring and allows for all student needs, requirements and ability levels. To date, I am proud to state that all my private students have achieved the grades they were wishing for and continued to their first choice of university. My hourly fee includes any local travel expenses as well as a wealth of learning resources to be supplied at no extra cost to the tutee.Availability (UK time)
