I am a highly enthusiastic English Educator specialising in KS3, KS4 and KS5. I use technology including specifically designed apps, quizzes and even Virtual Reality -VR- in order to enhance student learning and attainment. Highly experienced and enthusiastic distance learning educator dedicated to the creation of innovative English lesson planning and content creation for Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. In order to raise student attainment within English Literature and Language, I create highly engaging and exciting tasks through the use of digital apps, quizzes and games which I design specifically for my students’ needs to coincide with the lessons I teach.I am meticulous and hardworking by nature have had exceptional results from my students. As a specialist GCSE tutor, I have helped raise my students from Level 4 to Level 7 within a matter of weeks.
As mentioned above, I specialise in all Secondary School levels of English with a specific focus on examinations and revision from Years 7 - 12.
As an academic, I apply the latest pedagogic paradigms (teaching theory) shown to raise student understanding and ability. I combine the latest Apple, Google and web-based technology with my extensive knowledge of the English language (obtained from both Masters and Honours degrees) to create the optimum learning environment for students.
In my spare time, I am a National and International Conference Speaker and Teacher Trainer in the effective use of technology within the classroom situation and how I have used such technology to dramatically raise student standards.
