I have over 7 years of experience working as a mathematics tutor in both school settings and private tuition. For the past three years, I’ve worked with Kip McGrath Education Centres, delivering high-quality maths support to students from Key Stage 2 to GCSE level.My teaching has included both face-to-face and online lessons, allowing me to adapt to a range of learning needs and styles. I'm fully familiar with all major UK exam boards, including AQA, Edexcel, Eduqas, WJEC, and OCR, and I tailor my lessons to match the specific requirements of each.
I also have experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including those with autism, ADHD, and other learning differences. I create patient, supportive, and structured learning environments where every student can feel confident and make progress.

Working with SEN students is something I’m genuinely passionate about. My journey started at home—my own son is on the autistic spectrum, and raising him has opened my eyes to the incredible range of ways children experience and engage with the world. It’s taught me patience, creativity, and above all, adaptability.In my tutoring, I bring that same mindset. I’ve worked with students who are autistic, dyslexic, have ADHD and other unique profiles—and no two lessons are ever the same. I love the challenge of finding what clicks for each individual, whether that’s visual tools, step-by-step scaffolding, hands-on activities or just knowing when to pause and listen. For me, it’s not about “fitting” students into a lesson —it’s about shaping the learning around them.
