Experience
I have been tutoring for 8 years alongside my studies. I have taught students between the ages of 7 and 18 in Mathematics, Geography, Biology and Sociology as well as the 11+ and 13+ entrance exams and University Personal Statement applications. I have experience tutoring students with varying goals, as well as students with ADHD, ADD and Autism, which has meant that I have learned to be very adaptable to the different learning styles that each individual student needs. Whilst I studied Geography at university level, I also excelled in Mathematics at school. I am very comfortable teaching both syllabus content and exam technique in these fields of study and aim to make the experience of tutoring as positive and enjoyable as possible. I am a hardworking, friendly and reliable tutor and I believe I can help any student make progress and achieve their goals in their study.I am currently in my third year of studying Architecture at Oxford Brookes University, working towards qualifying to be a trained Architect. In 2019 I graduated from the University of Durham, where I achieved a First Class Honours Degree in Geography. I won a Geography Travel Prize in my 1st year and an academic scholarship in my 2nd year. Prior to that I was at Falmouth University studying the Art and Design Foundation. Aside from my academics I am very passionate about my sport. I recently ran two marathons and am planning to cycle around the coast of Scotland.
